Hardware Requirements

Minimum Configuration:

  • 8 GB RAM

  • SSD storage highly recommended

  • 64-bit processor

Recommended Configuration:

  • 16 GB RAM or more (required for complex models with extensive text and graphics)

  • SSD with sufficient free space for MATLAB and generated containers

  • Multi-core processor for better performance

MATLAB/Simulink Requirements

Supported MATLAB Versions:

The EHANDBOOK Container-Build Toolbox for Simulink supports Windows 64-bit variants of MATLAB/Simulink versions 2016b through 2024b (inclusive).

Model Format Support:

  • Simulink models in .slx format

  • Simulink models in .mdl format (with some limitations)

  • Stateflow charts and blocks

Additional Software

Required:

  • Valid EHANDBOOK Container-Build Toolbox license

  • ETAS License Manager (included in installation package)

Optional but Recommended:

Network Requirements

  • Internet connection for:

    • Downloading installation packages from ETAS Download Center

    • License verification (depending on license type)

    • Accessing online documentation
