Can EHANDBOOK generate static PDF documents?

Answer

Yes, EHANDBOOK supports static PDF output in different ways depending on the tool context:

  • EHB-NAV perspective: EHANDBOOK-NAVIGATOR can export content of a selected functional component to a PDF file. In practice, this export scope is limited to the currently selected content page in the Document Viewer.

  • EHB-CB perspective: EHANDBOOK Container-Build provides a command-line option to generate a complete PDF documentation for the full contents of an EHANDBOOK Container.

Depending on your use case, EHB-NAV is suited for interactive, page-focused exports, while EHB-CB is suited for full-document, build-time PDF generation.
